Things I’ve learned
Someone nodding “yes” is no guarantee they understand what you’re saying.
You can’t be too prepared.
You can’t force someone to like an idea.
It’s not a sprint - it’s a marathon.
Over-thinking is as deadly as under-thinking.
You can’t trust someone else to create your vision for you.
Passion counts.
Work with the best, but still look through the camera.
Life’s more inspiring than any awards annual.
Just because an ad won an award doesn’t mean it’s great.
Just because an ad didn’t win an award doesn’t mean it sucks.
Make time for the juniors and hopefuls.
